General Credits

Programs: The tools that I use from creating the site, bringing it together and putting it online.
- Adobe Photoshop and Image Ready: my main image editting program.
- WS_FTP LE: my FTP client used to upload the site.
- Windows Notepad: the word processor used to code and edit HTML.
Scripts/Snipplets: Aside from the self-satisifaction of doing everything oneself, there is really little reason why one shouldn’t take advantage of all the available resources.
- Megabook: used to power the guestbook
- eXTreMe Tracking used to track referals and seach engine keywords.
- The dynamic navigation (previous-next links) was obtained from a tutorial at Day Dream Graphics. The ‘News and Comments’ system was written with guidance from a tutorial at the same site.
- Thanks to PHP Editors, I was able to extract all the database data into neat little paragraphs.
Miscellaneous: The little odds and ends makes all the difference.
- The idea of the disclaiming copyright listing of series and authors originated from Haelus Suumi; all follow through copyright information was obtained from Google, Kikiwai and Anime Visions.
- I’ve received many helpful points from Teabox Reviews, Aria Reviews and Daybreak Reviews.
Galleries: It’s hard to find original, unedited scans to work with. The gallery where the images, of each provided layout, were obtained are listed on the actual layout itself. Nevertheless, I have my favourite and primary image resources:
- Anime Project Alliance - the images are of decent quality and the generous dimensions of each individual image makes it very flexible to work with.
- Anime Visions - neat and organized galleries for all my viewing pleasure.
- Aspirations - beautiful scans of series such as Gundam Wing, Angel Sanctuary, X/1999, Wish, Fruits Basket and Gravitation.
- Project Zen - handsome variety of less “popular” images at wonderful sizes and quality. Registration and participation required.
PHP Tutorials: PHP is a very difficult language, especially for those who have no experience in programming. The following tutorials sites were a great deal of guidance to me:
- Code Walkers - a PHP/MySql resource filled with stuff from basics to display to server adminstration and even XML.
- PHP Freaks - quick manual references, pre-written scripts, well-written tutorials, interactive forum…need I say more?
- Spoono - *hearts* ‘nough said ^_~
- W3Schools - Start from ground up. Quiz yourself afterwards!
- Webmonkey - well written and easy-to-understand tutorials; the place where beginners should start off at.
- Zend - lots of tutorials on various topics that are suitable for beginners as well as advanced programmers.
