Progress Report

Resources: I’ll be going in and deleting about 80-90% of the designs there. I’ve matured, the net has matured, but most of them didn’t age gracefully. If there’s something that you can’t bear to part with, download it now. Hopefully, I shall replenish the section with better designs now that my interest has sparked again.

wipsketches.jpg Sketches: Some things that I was working on before school started.

  • Top-left: Background of what’s to be a wishing tree although it’s looking promising as the backdrop of the other sketch… I decided to do a bit of scenery again.
  • Top-right: I love cuddling/comfort scenarios =P
  • Bottom-left: Some perspective practice. The angle is still off.
  • Bottom-right: Two sketches here, actually. Conductor in one; some wanderer in the other.

Misc: I’m tempted to do some reviewing again. To get me started, I will signed up for rev.iew.me. Captious Pedants is still on indefinite hiatus. I think we all underestimated what an undertaking it would be, but it was a good run. But if my opinion still matters to you, you’ll find me at rev.iew.me =)

Sketchdump

school_02.jpgschool_03.jpgsketches3.jpg I’ve been holding off posting because I’m still looking for a new host. If anybody has any suggestions, please leave them in the comments.

Notes are overrated =)

I was trying to paint a new holiday card for this year, but none of my concepts are coming out too well. Due to time constraints, I might just end up buying commercial cards. When the holiday rolls around in a week, I will finish off some of those sketches.

Reading “GUI Bloopers” and “Agile Web Development with Rails” is also on my to-do list. As well as revamping my portfolio to include school projects.

November 29th: It was super fun to finish. I hope your screens are as dark as mine!

waked1.jpg November 9th: Getting rusty with the tablet. I still want to go back and tweak the lips, the eye, the sleeves… I wanted to integrate some texture, but none of the patterns were working.

chamberswip2.jpgOctober 13th: Slow and steady progress.

chamberswip.jpgSeptember 20th: My daily sketches has turned into weekly sketches, but even that is demanding.
