While I haven’t touched Photoshop for myself for a while, I have been working on some projects, 3 of which are show-cased at Signed by V. The progress of a more extensive project will be published on this blog the client releases it.
I have plans to give DigiC a fresh new look and add some life to the premade section. I don’t know when those plans will be carried out.
I think my FTP program broke on me in the meantime. I’m having trouble uploading large files, and I ended up having to use the file manager in CPanel.
Two bugs that I’ll need to fix.
On Safari+Mac:
The blue background behind the image is the problem. It’s correct on the left whereas the background-position is completely ignored on the “Service” page. The implementations of both are identical. If anyone know why it’s doing that, please let me know.
The second bug is with this design. On Firefox and Mozilla on Linux, the text on the navigation to the left is shifted down ~5 pixels. In other words, it’s not aligning properly with the background. Then again, I should probably make the design bulletproof when it comes to font-resizing.
So Signed by V gets a new layout despite the upcoming tests and assignments. I still need to think of a creative way to lay out the Home page, the FAQ, Contact, Designer and something about the Portfolio index.
A while ago, I have been working on Affectionately. I was going to “launch” it near the holiday season but the shop where I purchase the bottles from were out of bottles. Now, I see a new batch in stock. I’m still fixing things around the site but I’m taking orders if anyone is interested.
The new web developer’s toolbar for Firefox is absolutely amazing. Everything at my fingertips =)
