The metallic series is complete with the completion of Eagle’s Eye. The pectoral muscles are still off after some correction, but I don’t think it’s too noticeable.

Accident is the latest addition. I think he looks like a chipmunk =) I might as well fit in whatever paintings I can while assignments aren’t piling up yet.

buttons.jpg My buttons arrived! A close up. The penguin turned out the best, but I rather like the Cobwebs button as well.

If you look closely, you’d see Luffy, Kakashi and Rock Lee =) They were gifts from a friend when she went to Anime North.

I bought a Canon MP470 yesterday for $55. While the scanner leaves much to be desired (although nothing I can’t adjust through Photoshop), I love the copier! I also did a four 8.5×11 prints (used half the colour cartridge–it’ll cost 30 bucks to replace), and they look infinitely better than the ones in the artbook I ordered. The saturation was off at first–had a nasty orange tinge like the book, but it was easy to rectify by adjusting the colour balance. Although it’s not cost effective to mass-produce, spitting out a few high-quality pieces for my wall isn’t out of the question. For $55, I’m a happy camper. (It should be noted, however, 1 black and 1 colour cartridge amounts to $60. I’ll need to find myself a store that carries remanufactured catridges or do refills.)

Who is the child? What is the nature of the accident XD? Whose door is he at?

Worked over the span of 2 days.
I’m not sure how much I like it. The errors in the face would jump out at me and then disappear. It’s like a 2d cube.

I hope it’s obvious that I made an effort with the hair because it’s easy to spot out of place strands with white/silver hair XD.

Overall, I’m satisfied with the painting. I wish I could have pulled off a pose with the arrow and bow raised. While I’m beginning to take more liberties with my references, my dynamic poses are yet to be convincing.
