Gender Bending

I had wanted to paint Poseidon, but the character turned out too young, not only that, but it turned out to be a female face on a male body. Twice. Even now, it looks pretty.
Furthermore, I really have no idea where I’m going with the rest of the composition. Perhaps, I’ll just sketch out the female body and a turn it into a mermaid and be done with it. They have a more interesting expression anyways.
