Sketchy painting in gallery: Samurai
A few sketches of half-finished ideas (a few more like studies at this point) for my partner in crime. The first sketch was done in mid-May. I didn’t want to upload anything before she got a chance to see them.

It kind of reminds me of Saitou Hajime from Rurouni Kenshin.
2 hours, on and off. The clothing was actually an afterthought which explains the roughness. I alternate between wanting to colour smoothly and speedpainting to just get the feel of it. I shall revisit this at some point.

June 27th: FIN! I went back and did an aerial view, the fountain, and corrected some anatomy issues with the painting I used for the final page. That should be everything except for a proper back story so there’s no wrong interpretation! It seems like I’ve tried to incorporate every Sailor Moon fan art I’ve ever done in the past year. Please let me know if the progression of the panels don’t make sense or if I need another scene, etc.
Critiques welcomed =)
