Spirit of Horse and Dragons

Designed for the 2005 Lunar New Year contest at Aethereality. It’s a graphic manipulation of a picture that I drew. Won me first place. I recall how wonderful it would be to have animated envelopes.
The phoenix belongs to a series of drawings that I never finished. It was based off a fanfiction called, “Bleed — Just to Know You’re Alive” by Evil Authoress, Inc. The shitennou each possessed an animalistic power. There were the tortoise, the phoenix, the tiger and the dragon.
